NEET syllabus and exam pattern

Before beginning the exam preparation, it is important to have a complete understanding of the syllabus and exam pattern. NEET Syllabus 2021 contains 180 questions in total which are divided into 3 parts as Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.

Chemistry and Physics consist of 45 questions each in that order, whereas the Biology section is 90 questions in total. Paper is of 720 marks which are divided into three parts as biology is of 360 marks, 180 in Chemistry, and 180 in Physics.

Lay down a target score as a minimum of 650. Check out all the topics in all three subjects thoroughly and spot your strongest region with any color of pencil and your weak region with a different color of the pencil. This will help you divide the syllabus into 2 parts.

Students must make a record of topics arranged from highest weightage to the lowest weightage followed by subjects; biology, chemistry, and physics.

By doing this, you will be capable to cover the extra syllabus in less time. Start with Chemistry and one more subject at the same time.

Read NCERT line by line. Mark important facts with a highlighter and make notes simultaneously. After completing NCERT, start reading extra study material available in the form of books, and preparation websites.

Also, make notes from these references. Biology is all about flow charts and diagrams so; pay attention to diagrams to grasp a topic. Diagrams are a chief factor for NEET 2021 Preparation. And physics is all about illustration so make sure to solve many questions as you can.
